The PocketShrink apps are self-diagnosis tools.
PocketShrink Antisocial Personality Disorder allows a user who has concerns around their interpersonal relationships, intensity of behavior and emotions, and self-image to gain some self understanding and a rough gauge on whether they should seek further medical advice. It also allows them to see the results of other anonymous users of the app who have the same concerns as themselves.
Additionally, if you are having particular difficulties with one specific friend, boyfriend or girlfriend, boss, child or work colleague but all of your other relationships are stable and harmonious, using the app may give some insight into their behavior and why it may occur.
The app is simple and easy to use. It was written by a practicing psychologist and is based upon the latest diagnostic and statistical manuals (DSM IV).
